Attinlea is a large and beautifully restored house located on the Dorback estate in the foothills of the Cairngorms.  The nearest village is Nethy Bridge 4 miles away.  Aviemore main line train station is 20 minutes drive away and Grantown-on-Spey is 15 minutes away.

Speyside is one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles and the house is ideally situated for walks, fishing, outdoor activities at the Rothiemurchus estate, Highland games (in season) or simply gazing over the mountains from the comfort of the house.  For fans of 'the water of life' the Malt Whisky trail may be picked up at nearby Cardhu Distillery.

The accomodation is suitable for a couple of families, a group of friends or a romantic break (discounts available for small groups).  There are 3 double en suite bedrooms, 1 twin en-suite, a single room in the bothy and 1 attic bedroom with 5 single beds.  There is a large entrance hall leading into an open plan sitting room and dining area, a kitchen, television room and a library.  Outside is a simple garden with a stunning undisturbed view onto the mountains.
